The process of buying a home can be complicated. At Simms Development we try to streamline the process to make it easy for our buyers.
To begin with, our models are open daily and our buyers can be working with a Realtor or not. It does not affect the price of the home. We have all the paperwork in the models for the purchase agreement.
The next step is applying for your loan if you are going to finance and, if you use our preferred lender, Simms pays your closing costs. This is often done at the model or electronically.
Once your loan is approved, you get to pick your interior selections and Simms has all the selections in the model sales office. From cabinets and countertops, to flooring and finishes, and more, it is there, so there is no need to run around town to different locations.
Once the home is completed, the builder does the final walk through with the buyer, again at the community. I like to do the walk through personally to insure the level of quality is within industry standards and the Simms standards. “Quality Comes First” is our motto.
The final step, the closing, is held at our corporate office so our homebuyers can meet our warranty staff and know where they can address any needs in the future.
So, except for the closing, everything is done at the site. Most of our buyers tell me it has been a very easy process compared to other builds they have done and believe we have a great team in place. Please check out our testimonial page under About Simms on our Website.
